Another big turnoff for employers: The job candidate gets an offer and has to bring it home for review. Off-limits word: "I want to show that to my dad before I get back to you." Ditto, your spouse, best friend 'Raymond', etc. It's fine to take a day to review something; just make sure the employer knows they are negotiating with YOU - not your family and friends.
